At Discovery Nursery in Exeter, our environment is thoughtfully designed to inspire curiosity, creativity, and a sense of belonging. Set across two floors, our nursery features four dedicated rooms, each carefully tailored to meet the needs and interests of different age groups. Our dining spaces provide a calm, social space where children can enjoy meals together and build independence. The nursery’s outside space is our centrepiece: it’s a place for exploration and joy!
Kitchen & Dining
Mealtimes at Discovery Nursery are a valued part of the day, offering children the chance to come together, build independence, and enjoy freshly prepared food in a calm and social environment. All meals are made on site, ensuring children are provided with nutritious, wholesome food each day.
The Retreat, Explorers and Adventurers all eat in their own base rooms, with the Inventors eating in the upstairs kitchen.
Outdoor Exploration
Our outdoor space is a true extension of our learning environment and a big part of what makes Discovery so special. With three unique garden sections, children have endless opportunities to explore, create, and connect with nature. From experimenting with sound in our sound garden, to imaginative play in the Creative Cove, to hands-on, messy fun in our large mud kitchen, every space invites children to be active, expressive, and adventurous in their learning.
